Just Two KIDS Falling in love
The Story of Andrew and Aubrey getting real weird with it
Growing Up FAQs
Where were you born?
Aubrey
Was born in Salt Lake City to Kristie Ann Suchar and James Justin Suchar in May of 1997.
I was raised in North Salt Lake where I attended elementary and junior high school.
Andrew
Was born in Salt Lake City to Jean Marie Armour and Edward Bradley Armour in July of 1991. I grew up in Murray, and spent most of my life there until my senior year of high school. Dad and I moved to Phoenix for a year where I graduated.
What did you want to be when you were younger?
Aubrey
An actress, singer, or anything where I was the center of attention.
Andrew
I wanted to be an actor/comedian or a doctor. Even very young I was always intrigued by science and have always had a good sense of humor.
What sports did you play?
Aubrey
I started gymnastics at a young age and always enjoyed flipping, bouncing, and tumbling around. I also loved to dance and competed in yearly competitions with my dance team at Lagoon which were the highlights of my dance career. I also played hockey from age 4 to 6. I started playing soccer when I was about four and played up until my Sophomore year of High School.
Andrew
I grew up playing tee-ball around ages 4-6, soccer ages 8-12, and basketball from
ages 6-13.
What were your favorite subjects in school?
Aubrey
Anything that I could get out of the classroom for. I liked library and art the best. I had a wild music teacher and I mostly enjoyed his class, but I never understood how to read music. I liked English classes and most of my math classes, until I had an insane teacher, for Calculus in High School, and lost interest.
Andrew
Some subjects, namely English, were not my cup of tea. However, any subject where you learned how the world works, like science, brought particular interest. I grew up loving all things science and technology.
Were you a troublemaker?
Aubrey
Teacher consistently noted my ability to distract other children during school. Perhaps, I just had more interesting topics to discuss? Although, I was overall a pretty easy-going kid aside from trying to wrangle two younger sisters.
Andrew
I was a perfect angel until puberty - straight-A student. Aaand that's when the fire nation attacked (metaphorically speaking). High school was mostly me skipping class to go build things in woodshop or the computer lab. Which eventually led to my love of fixing things and working in technology and now data science.
What was your biggest unrealistic fear?
Aubrey
Being wrapped in a massive spider web. Still working on the 'unrealistic' part. Just keep reminding myself: even Australia doesn't have evil spiders that big... right?
Andrew
Africanized bees. Don't worry though, I've never let my guard down and still to this day carry industrial-sized wasp spray wherever I go.
